Our week at Anasa Retreat was pure magic. From the moment we arrived, we felt an immediate sense of calm, as if the outside world simply melted away.

This stunning private villa, nestled in the foothills of western Crete, is a sanctuary of beauty and peace. The architecture is timeless and soulful — warm stone walls, soaring ceilings, and an open living space that flows effortlessly onto a sun-drenched veranda with endless views of olive groves, mountains, and dramatic skies that change by the hour.

We spent our days floating in the infinity pool, soaking in the hot tub as the sun dipped below the horizon, and lingering over meals prepared in the beautifully equipped kitchen. Every detail of the home invites you to slow down, breathe deeper, and truly rest.

Just beyond the retreat are authentic Greek seaside villages and breathtaking beaches with baby-blue waters and soft, warm sand. We loved lounging under palm-covered beach huts, sipping a cool drink, and letting the rhythm of the sea reset our souls. Evenings were filled with unforgettable meals — fresh, vibrant cuisine that made every bite feel alive with flavor.
